Obituary for James Leslie Davis

James Leslie Davis, age 83, of Cleveland passed away Sunday, October 5th, 2014 at Golden Living Center in Pell City.

Survivors include wife Shirley Davis; sister Elsie Bishop and a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Gifford and Axeline Davis and son Leslie O'Neill Davis.

The family will receive friends at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Wednesday, October 8th, 2014 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 8th, 2014 at 11:00 am in Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Easley Cemetery.

Mr. Davis was a retired Flight Line Crew Chief and a veteran with the United States Air Force. He loved deer hunting, fishing, and being outdoors.

Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
