Obituary for Herman Elwin "Bill" Vincent

Herman Elwin "Bill"  Vincent
Herman "Bill" Elwin Vincent, age 82, of Blountsville passed away Tuesday, May 1st, 2018 at Diversicare Nursing Center. Mr. Vincent doted on his "girls" (Momma and Daughters) and loved to spend time with his grandchildren.
He enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting, fishing and sports being an avid Alabama fan. Mr. Vincent was a veteran of the Army National Guard where he was a helicopter mechanic and received the Berlin Crisis Medal.

Left to cherish his lifelong memories are wife Etha Rene Vincent; daughters Cindy (Jesse) Marler, Kristy (Steve) Speed, Rebecca (Tom) Glover; brother Barney "C.V." Vincent; sisters Jean Thomas, Gladys Cornelius; grandchildren Abbie Wolverton, Brett Marler, Austin Wolverton. He is preceded in death by his parents Clarence and Gladys Vincent, sisters Margie Davis and Eloise Hamby.

The family will receive friends at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 2nd, 2018 from 12:30 pm until 2:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held following Wednesday, May 2nd, 2018 at 2:00 pm in Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to be held at Mount Joy Cemetery in Cleveland, Alabama.

Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
