Charles W. Brooks age 69, of Oneonta passed away Tuesday, April 17th, 2018 at St. Vincent's East.

Left to cherish his memories are his sons: Chris (Stephanie) Brooks, Shane (Dana) Brooks, brothers: Wendell Brooks and Kendell Brooks, sister: Patsy Cantrell, grandchildren: Tiffany D'Angelo, Tyler, Kyle and Brady Brooks and great grandchildren: Paisley D'Angelo, Araeah Brooks and Cayci Brooks. Mr. Brooks was preceded in death by his parents: Mr. & Mrs. Hoyt and Ruth Brooks, wife: Jo Ann Brooks, brother: Tommy Brooks and sisters: Laverne McGinnis and Helen Pate.

The family will receive friends at Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home, 17885 State Hwy 160, Cleveland, Alabama. on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 20, 2018 at 2:00 pm in the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Fowler Springs Cemetery in Blountsville, Alabama.

Mr. Brooks was self employed and retired from the steel fabrication business. He enjoyed working with heavy equipment and loved classic cars.
