Elsie Arlene (Pate) Hyatt, age 89, of Cleveland passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 15th, 2018 at TLC Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Hyatt was a very outgoing person who sang for many years as the Hyatt Family and loved music of all kinds. She had been employed many years as an Quality Inspector with Blue Bell/Wrangler in Oneonta. She enjoyed flowers and birds, especially blue birds.

Left to cherish her precious memories are son Jerry Hyatt; daughters Freida (Danny) Martin, Reta Hyatt; brothers James Earl Pate, David Pate; sisters Pauline Earl, Peggy Washburn, Geraldine Champion; grandchildren Steve Nelson, April Massey, Bret Martin, Amy Sims, Jeremy Hyatt; 11 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Mrs. Hyatt is preceded in death by her parents Sam and Mattie Pate; husband Loyal Hyatt.

The family will receive friends at the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to follow at Mount Joy Cemetery in Cleveland, Alabama.
