Imogene (Beavers) McCoy age 93, of Cleveland passed away Saturday, March 24th, 2018 at St. Vincent's Blount. She was a member of the United Methodist Women's Club. Mrs McCoy enjoyed gardening, crocheting, quilting, knitting and embroidering. She was an avid bird watcher and animal lover.

Left to cherish her memories are sons: James Ross McCoy, Jr. (Kathy), Charles Roland McCoy (Rynthia), daughter: Gina K. McCoy, Sister: Wynell Bryan and 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents: Mr. Pinkney Sylvester Beavers and Mrs. Mary Ethel Bullard Beavers, husband: James R."Jim" McCoy, Son: Jerry Wayne Brooks, Brothers: Odis, Ides, Leldon "Shorty", and Billy Max Beaver, sisters: Bernice Wadsworth, Kathleen Lumpkin and Agnes Horton,and one grandchild.

The family will receive friends at the Cleveland United Methodist Church from 9:30 am until 11:00 am. Monday, March 26, 2018. Funeral Services will be held Monday - March 26th, 2018 - 11:00 am with burial to follow at Cleveland Cemetery., Cleveland, Al.

Officiating services: Bro. Barry Hallman. Pallbearers for services: Ben McCoy, Allen Bryan, Ronnie Chastain, Marlon Tidwell, Aaron McCoy and Dale Brooks.

Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
