Obituary for Thomas Edward "Tommy" Burgess

Thomas (Tommy) Edward Burgess, age 62, of Locust Fork passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 22nd, 2017 at his residence. A member of the Masonic Lodge #481 in Locust Fork, Tommy was a hardworking son, father, and friend. He loved his children and grandchildren, he loved to help anyone in need or not. He enjoyed fishing, camping, going to car shows and spending time with friends. He collected antiques, trinkets, flowers and yard decor. He was often caught playing softball and basketball when he could. He was loving and cared for everyone, he will truly be missed.

Survivors include sons Barry (Aimee) Burgess, Garry (Savannah) Burgess; daughter April (Doug) Massey; brothers Gillham (Debbie) Burgess, Eddie Burgess; grandchildren Courtney, Cassidy, John David, and Charla Fountain, Cole Massey, Wyatt Burgess. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents John Edward and Annie Inez Burgess.

Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, October 28th, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel.

Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
