Erma Lois  Champion (Needham)
Erma Lois (Needham) Champion, age 84, of Cleveland passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 25th, 2017. She enjoyed listening to gospel music and the Bible on tape. Mrs. Champion had a fondness for animals but adored her favorite dogs Teddie and Freddie.

Survivors include son Charles Edward (Sue) Champion; daughter Shelia Forristall; brothers Billy Needham, Calvin Smith, sister Jeanette McCray; 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Champion is preceded in death by her parents Sam Asbury and Mary Bell Needham- Smith; son Marvis Ray Champion; brothers Bobby Needham, Thomas Smith, James Henry Needham, Sam Needham, Fred Needham; sisters Christine Blackmon, Ethel Needham, Mary Blackmon.

The family will receive friends the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 1st, 2017 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. Funeral Services will be held following on Tuesday, August 1st, 2017 at 11:00 am in Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at Antioch Cemetery in Oneonta, Alabama.
