Obituary for Jerry Wayne Doty

Jerry Wayne Doty, age 80, of Cleveland passed away peacefully Friday, June 30th, 2017 at his residence.

Survivors include wife Eloise Wells Doty; sons Philip Mathew Doty and Laura, David Wayne Doty and Ginger; daughters Jerri Lynn Wood and Terry, Ramona Dean Standridge; sister Rachel Ann Lindley and James; grandchildren Jessica Wood, Kimberly Floyd, Dean Standridge, Gracie Doty, Elizabeth Story and Kyle, Triston Rittenhouse, Olivia Rittenhouse; great grandchildren Malik Wood, Mikai Wood, Jevon Cade, Mallory Story, Raymond Mathew Webb, and one on the way; special nephews Chris and Eddie Doty, Randy and Larry Walker; a host of other relatives and lots of friends. Preceded in death by father Garnett Edward Doty, mother Ida Mae Doty, sisters Inez Burton, Callie Ruth Walker, Emilee Brumbley and son-in-law Garry Standridge.

The family will receive friends at the Blount County/Cleveland Funeral Home on Saturday, July 1st, 2017 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 1st, 2017 at 6:00 pm in Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel 17885 State Hwy 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049, with graveside services at Nectar Cemetery on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at 1:00 pm.

Mr. Doty was a Mason with Dry Creek Lodge #626, a member of the Zamora Shriner's, a strawberry farmer who enjoyed fishing and hunting.
