Obituary for Jimmy Ross Washburn

Mr. Jimmy Ross Washburn, age 76, of Nectar passed away Tuesday, May 23rd, 2017. Mr. Washburn was a truck farmer and enjoyed visiting with friends at the coffee shop and loved his dog Buddy.

Survivors include son Richard and Sara Washburn; daughters Lisa & Greg Green; brother Charles Lynn Washburn; sister Ann Whaley; grandchildren Jonathan Green, David Green, Katy Green, Jacob Washburn, Shelby Washburn, and Brody Washburn. He is preceded in death by his father J. D. Washburn; mother Dorothy Dutton Reid; special stepmother Frances Washburn; brother Tommy Washburn.

The family will receive friends at the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home on Thursday, May 25th, 2017 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 26th, 2017 at 11:00 am in the Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at High Rock Cemetery in Hayden, Alabama.


Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
