Janet (Vanhooser) Sherbet age 78, of Cleveland passed away Saturday, January 21st, 2017 at St. Vincent's East, Birmingham, AL.

Survivors include Son: Ricky (Myra) Sherbet, Benny Ray (Elizabeth) Sherbet, Dennis (Tonya) Sherbet and Kevin (Rebecca) Sherbet. Daughter: Nita Sherbet, Sisters: Karen Vanhooser and Donna Cross, 22 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Mr. Ray Vanhooser and Mrs.Juanita Larsen Vanhooser, Husband: Jesse Sherbet, Brother: Dennis Vanhooser.

The family will receive friends at Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home,17885 State Highway 160 Cleveland, Alabama 35049 Sunday, January 22nd, 2017 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 23rd, 2017 at 2:00 PM in Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Nectar Cemetery..

Mrs. Sherbet was employed with Golden Living as a CNA. She was a very kind, giving and loving person. She loved gardening, cooking, Alabama football and Nascar.. She was also an Eastern Star.
