Condolences

Condolence From: Ron
Condolence: Years back, I was granted the gift of meeting Carolyn.
We immediately hit it off.
Maybe her country kind and giving soul matched perfectly with my city sarcasm. I absolutely adored this woman. (I still believe I was the only person to curse in her house, and not only NOT get kicked out, but make her laugh while doing it).
I loved seeing her laugh. It was as true as a hot day in July.
She and I would spar over anything..... EVERYTHING.
I'd make some comment like "the only dang way she could get folks to come see her, was a trip to the E.R.".....
She'd laugh... She'd call me mean as a snake....
But she was most definitely one of my most loved, and she knew it. (Which is why I also received PLENTY of the Washburn sarcasm from her). A mutual sarcastic deep love we shared.
During the cancer years, I never stopped the jokes, the sarcasm.... The bond. In return, she never stopped the chuckles, the smiles. Her calling me "mean as a snake", was our way of saying we loved each other.

May this precious, stubborn, loving, sarcastic soul, finally have the peace she deserves.

There'll be a line of folks coming to see you, so get gussied up, and that darn dress on, or folks will think produce stands gone belly up.

With my upmost respect, love, admiration and sympathy.
Ron
