Obituary for Lorene Turner (Gallimore)

Lorene Turner age 82, of Dora passed away Tuesday, December 23rd, 2014 at Birmingham Nursing and Rehab.

Survivors include daughters Kathy (Robert) Gables, Teresa (Ricky) Chapman, grandchildren Jimmy (Sherry) Gables,Christie (John) Pepon, Tim Gables, Jacob Gables, Marcus (LaVana) Chapman, Jared (Lisa) Chapman, 9 great-grandchildren and a host of neices, nephews and cousins. She is proceeded in death by her husband George Turner, father Sherman Gallimore, mother Christiny Walker Gallimore, brothers Vernon Gallimore and Elbert Gallimore and grandson Lesley Chapman.

The family will receive friends at Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Saturday, December 27th, 2014 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 27th, 2014 at 1:00 pm in Blount County Cleveland Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in High Rock Cemetery.

Mrs. Turner was a Homemaker. She was involved with Eastern Stars- Locust Fork, she loved gardening (especially roses), and her grandchildren.

Blount County/ Cleveland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
